Join us!

Anyone can join events run by our host community groups, the EcoCentre or Werribee River Association to care for waterways, parks and drains which link our neighbourhoods to Port Phillip Bay. Every Living Water Workbees volunteer earns $25/hour rebate credit for a local rainwater tank or raingarden installation. Volunteers can choose which installation their credits go - for example, you can raise funds for your own organisation or donate your credits to a local school.

Join a diverse calendar of family-friendly local clean-up, wildlife survey or planting day with our community group partners. You can also organise your own workbee with your school or community to raise rebate credits. Contact the EcoCentre to organise approved Living Water Workbees.

No experience is required to join these community workbees! Click on the events in the calendar for more information.

Living Water Workbees connects people, waterways and biodiversity. Join community workbees to care for Elster Creek, Werribee River and Port Phillip Bay. Earn rebates for a rainwater tank or raingarden to reduce runoff impact and improve the quality of our local waterways.
